The only real visual proof Kalina had was when she stepped on a scale, but even that didn't register with her.

"My weight would go down and I'd feel good about it," she said, "but I would not see it within the mirror slim forte double power so I wished to still lose weight."

When they returned from Mexico, Kalina knew she wasn't mainly because she had lost an additional 12 pounds around the trip.

That's when her parents rushed her towards the er in the University of Michigan Hospital.

Within the next eight months, they moved their daughter from program to program seeking somebody that could reach her -- coupled with no success. They argued together with her about eating, and Kalina even tried running away, which introduced law enforcement.

"It was basically a nightmare," Maria said. "I couldn't get her to eat. You're grasping at straws since you don't know what to do."

After 3 weeks of her junior year, Claire was taken off school as her parents devoted themselves to locating a remedy. She was at an outpatient program when her weight dropped to 87 pounds in late November 2013, and her mother became hysterical.

"I was sobbing and crying," Maria said. "I said excitedly: 'You've reached put her in the hospital since i think she is going to die.' They couldn't get blood from veins, they were so restricted. When she experienced Beaumont, they just couldn't believe it."

Finally, after an eight-day stay in Beaumont in December, Claire and Maria were off to Aurora and Children's Hospital Colorado.

That's where they met Dr. Polito, a clinical staff psychologist, and Claire was immediately cured ... or otherwise.

"At first, no, just because that's the way it always goes," Kalina said. "It's hard initially. It's a lot like the program zhen de shou slimming capsule when you're parents have been in control of all of your food.

"So you come and take a seat while dining and get served what you need to eat and you have to complete it. That's a very hard aspect of it, but it is among the best."
